"Cowardice asks the question...is it safe? Expediency asks the question...is it politic? Vanity asks the question...is it popular? But conscience asks the question...is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but one must take it because it is right." ~Dr. Martin Luther King

Chopper still in place.
Chopper came in low & now seems to be off to north.
The Bird has gone.
It is bad [ see photo on York Region ] but would have been much worse if we still had that wind from yesterday.
The same applies to the Cultural Centre.

Say what ?
A couple of fire-fighters were injured, one resident had breathing problems.
Let's see how the captain of the ship deal with this. It should bring the town together
Our street is taking the Yonge traffic. Confused drivers as on the Street Sale day - the late light is helping them.
OMG Can you imagine all the folks who had spring weddings booked there ?
The Auroran has coverage too.
Town web- site has " media release. "
I have no idea when this was posted but it says there are no injuries.
Rest of roof is coming off - Yonge closed until midnight

From the Auroran:
"The Aurora Public Library was also closed due to the fire, as was the Aurora Cultural Centre, which cancelled the rest of the day’s programming, including a concert."
