The piggy bank and the Hydro fund would of been gone within months of his inauguration. Dawe was the best considering the choice was only one of two. I think we might be able to almost all agree on that one. Myself, I think we should give it a try instead of digging into the Hydro interest every year to satisfy their spending.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4506868496663273256.post-7464628406530955282016-04-12T11:09:08.725-05:002016-04-12T11:09:08.725-05:00Most councils are "fresh" with one thing...
Most councils are "fresh" with one thing in common. No substantial ideas that would benefit the community at large.

The present mayor has accomplished nothing on behalf of Aurora taxpayers other than over-send millions on several projects, one of which is still filled with problems, many of them small.

He has promoted and presented several ideas, studies and plans, all of which have amounted to absolutely nothing.

And members of council each seem to have their own little projects, most of them resulting in zilch, other than expenditure of the public purse.

These people should be subject to some form of rating system, and their salaries should be adjusted with their performance. Much the same as the ratings agencies rate public companies and governments. Although it must be acknowledged that the raters can screw up big time, and often do.

We are stuck with a bunch of dead horses and nothing to pull the carts.

Government, at all levels, is useless and very expensive.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
