St. Maximilian Kolbe CHS principal Domenic Scuglia has been named one of Canada’s outstanding principals for 2011 by The Learning Partnership. Mr. Scuglia was nominated by St. Maximilian Kolbe CHS staff because of his strong commitment to Catholic education. Nearly 30 years later, he is still with York Catholic, having served along the way as phys-ed department head, coach, vice-principal and principal. Beyond his school obligations, Mr. Scuglia is also involved in Rugby Ontario and serves as a board member with the Toronto Marlboros Hockey Club. He and this year's other 31 honourees will be celebrated at a gala in Toronto on February 8.
