Get It Straight

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Valhalla":

"We have the beginnings of it now with the library and Church Street School. Many of the activities I'm talking about are already happening in those two facilities."

So, why exactly do we need the "Buck Building"?

**********

Because we have a site.

We have $33million dollars to invest.

Because this old town already has a heart. It is where it should be. In the centre.

We should  find a way to invest  our resource  that will  provide  the best  return.

A facility designed for the purpose could be the crucible  that leads to better things. Not  least of which would be Aurora  residents having an opportunity to excel

Along with the other potential of sparking  a business centre unique to Aurora.

The Town of Stratford did it with a tent in the park.

It would certainly put meaning into the word "innovative".

Church Street School , in every way lends itself best as our Centre for Heritage. It symbolizes the values of our founders.

Our library does what a library does best .It helps people  help themselves. It symbolizes our values.

You should be careful how many times you repeat the  name
"Buck Building" It might stick. I am  sure that' s not your intention. But if it's the worst slam  you can think of, I can live with that.

  1. No more building or streets names after people unless they are dead for 5 years - just to be sure they don't come back! We've had too much of that.

Is that why your followers have taken to calling the Cultural Centre the "Heritage Centre"? Using a non-existent title sounds like a feeble attempt at 'manifesting'.

It is doing just fine as a Cultural Centre, thanks.
