Look At This

The numbers speak for themselves...

  • Canadian municipalities consume nearly 20 million sheets of paper each month for council packages
  • This equates to 1,600 trees each month and over 19,000 trees a year
  • All this paper costs taxpayers over $2 million dollars annually
  • Every year municipal staff spend over 37,000 hours manually compiling these paper packages
  • Add Board, Committee and Department meetings and
  •  these numbers can easily grow by six-fold

  1. We're going to need a lot of trees grown under the water tower!

  2. Can't plant anything under the water tower. Although there are some spots on High Tor where weird looking plants have been placed. I think it's stuff you can smoke.

  3. If you don't smoke it you will be able to make rope out of it.

  4. Considering that no one seems in charge of the place, it is in astonishingly good shape. Maybe during a dull time, Brock Weir could do something in the Auroran on the entire complex of properties. He seems to have a good touch with history. And I see no reason for all the secrecy. In fact, being threatened with car-keying pissed me off to the extent that I am now actively mentioning how to get into the area....bad idea that was.

  5. Maybe after visiting the Market & seeing how they have worked their Code out, Aurorans could check out that site? I have noticed that property- owners whose places back onto the Region land have gates from their places to allow them access. No one can complain if the rest of Aurora is interested.

  6. Doesn't a car set off an alarm if someone messes with it?

  7. If a car alarm goes off and there is no one to hear it, does it make a sound?
