The U.S. Has Grover

I would very much like to know how Councillors Gaertner & Gallo explain their personal involvement in 3 lawsuits to their respective families. And why Councillor Ballard has decided to take up the cudgel for them. What does he tell his family?
********** *********
Councillor Gaertner and Gallo, have nothing to explain to their families

Everything, including a defense against charges of  Defamation of Character, Denial of Charter Rights, Abuse of Public Resources and Abuse of Public Authority has been  paid from  public resources.

Their families have suffered no hardship as a result of law suits instigated by their decision that Charter  rights can be trampled
indiscriminately.

They have no qualms of conscience.

They are confident, as all  self- righteous  individuals are inclined to be, in the correctness of their understanding .

They are not alone

Councillor Ballard as noted takes up the cudgel.

He is not alone.

The U.S.  has Grover Nordquist.

  1. The average family might find it hard to swallow that this one member of their clan could 'innocently ' become embroiled in so many cases. One instance could be rationalized and fudged over. Three totally separate cases strains credulity.

  2. Good question and good response from Evelyn.

  3. Councillor Ballard is claiming a great web of conspiracy to entrap the ' totally innocent ' Morris. This disregards the fact that she was the one who initiated the SLAPP lawsuit against 3 individuals. And the fact that the conspirators know Morris better than they know each other. He has totally lost it and it's all on tape from the Council meeting.

  4. OK So everyone planning to run for election can move up 3 spaces to replace Ballard, Gaertner and Gallo. Except for the Snark, the Jam Lady and Deb Kelly from the Banner. I like the look of this. Works for me.

  5. I am just getting to this material. Long day. But one thing strikes me and I don't know if it is relevant or not. At the last meeting Councillor Gallo referred to himself as a lone wolf. I thought that was an attempt to remove himself from the action and do the Pontius bit. We have to remember that this lone wolf hunted with the pack. He was making jokes after Evelyn fell in the Town Hall until someone cut the mic.

  6. Supreme Court upholds ruling to set possible precedent for holding municipalities at fault for accidents on their roads.
