How about that?

The last artist featured in  Art of the Low Countries  last night was Vermeer.  The last painting  featured on the program was Girl with a Pearl Earring.

Vermeer died penniless and was buried in an unmarked grave.

A headline on 680 news just reported a  disputed painting has been authenticated by Christie's and is expected to earn $13million in an upcoming auction.

How about that?

  1. I think Van Gogh sold one painting during his lifetime that wasn't to his loyal brother Theo.
