I am not soliciting sympathy. I share the outrage and frustration that the options are not palatable.
On one fleeting occasions, the Premier claimed the opposition supported the decision to
cancel the contracts for the gas-fired hydro generation plants.
There were no denials.
The cancellation was done on the eve of the last election and by The Honourable Dalton Mcguinty
Just as closures of coal-fired generation plants in the same location were done on the eve of the previous election.
Both decisions were a significant benefit to incumbent municipal politicians at the time.

"The people didn't want it" she said.
"It's water under the bridge" she said.
"Let's look to the future" she said.
Well, no.... not yet. Looking to the future is fine when the past is in order.
When the past is a scandalous mess that cannot be glossed over, elections are payback time.
Except election year once in four
