"Cowardice asks the question...is it safe? Expediency asks the question...is it politic? Vanity asks the question...is it popular? But conscience asks the question...is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but one must take it because it is right." ~Dr. Martin Luther King

SAME CHANNEL..NO APOLOGY .. TIMES ARE TOUGH

She Drew the Short Straw has left a new comment on your post "A CAMPAIGN IS A PERFORMANCE....SOME DO IT BETTER":

I wouldn't have envied that poor girl.

**********************************************

Mostly I would  let a comment like the above sit for a bit before deciding . It would not usually be published.

It's short but virulent.  Extremely hurtful and intended for the purpose.

It's typical Mormac. Maybe more Mac than Mor. Mor mostly managed to entice others to do it.
Mac did it for her own satisfaction.

A comment yesterday asked a rhetorical question; What was in it for the Mormac gang?
Like if it couldn't be explained then it didn't happen.

Victims enough of the malevolence left in their path was evidence enough. The conduct was unconscionable.

It can no more be explained than the comment above. I had not experienced it like that before in Aurora politics. Though I did since from the Dawe-Abel Duo.

Municipal politics in no way resemble a Sunday School picnic. But everyone is in it together. It's tough
without slander.

Tom Mulcair is the man to watch in this election. He is seasoned. He attacks on policies and decisions .... not the man...or man and boy ...as the case may be. He keeps hammering. Does not let go.

His focus  is sharp. He knows precisely how to place the blade.  Not much room for humour in his aproach and that's a deficit. But there's no mistaking intensity in his determination .

Lookit...politics may be a game.  But it's a bloody serious game. Stakes are high. Lives are on the line.
Not enough people participate which puts a greater burden on those who do.

Too often, there is no credible choice.

This time there is.

Wish I could agree with you Evelyn. ”Credible” choice? I don’t think we have any credible choices. You speak of the party leaders, Mulcair in particular. How about the NDP representative and the rest of the representatives of each party in our riding? I for one don’t trust any of them. I think you’ve had a few commenters that said they will be declining their voting card. I will be one of those voters as well.

When you publish some of these ignorant comments from these losers, I can't help but smile. You not only a lot of supporters that read your Blog...you have these losers reading as well. That's got to be somewhat satisfying.

No. Just your garden troll's attempt at humour.
