EPILOGUE

Story-tellers influence how people think. They provide the raw stuff and refined material.

A story has a beginning, a middle, an end and inevitably they are told from the perspective of the story-teller.

In the conversation with Charlie Rose the other day, Dan Baquet noted at the time of the Civil War black people lived in the south. The narrative In the North was white. Black stories were never told.

Then blacks migrated north and the stories gradually changed.

In that context, think it's  relevant to note Charlie Rose and Dan Baquet, each members of arguably most discriminated against people, are top influential story tellers of our times.

The story I copied from Facebook came along at the right time.

The Irish were not the first slaves. Nor were the blacks.

No race has a monopoly on cruel and inhumane treatment.
