MORE ON SUPER TUESDAY

Something  else has become clear already. Delegates are shared proportionately among candidates
according to percentage of votes garnered; except for super delegates, who are elected officials who pledge support to a particular candidate.

Bernie Sanders  says he is going to stay in the race until the convention. There is talk of a "brokered"
convention. I don't know what that is and hesitate to speculate.

It seems the longer Sanders lasts the more Hillary is undermined. Democratic chances  to re-take the White House in November could  be reduced  with no obvious advantage to himself

Sanders has been an Independent Socialist Senator for twenty-five years and when the campaign ends,  he will still be the same.

Sanders has just won Colorado. They like guns up there. There be bears in them thar hills.
Minnesota has gone to Sanders.

The Senator panders to the gun lobby despite his otherwise claim to virtue.

On the Republican side Cruz has three states. Rubio has won one . Trumps odds are down. His support could finally be crumbling under the weight of contradictions.

Cruz is talking about his rivals giving " quiet prayerful reflection" to who should get out and leave the field clear for him.

Hmmmm.

When Hollywood makes a movie about this campaign, the question is not who becomes President
but who plays the role of the mercurial candidate and whether the Vatican grants Imprimatur.

  1. Evelyn, I've been following what's been happening in the US, and what I've gathered is that there are a lot of people unhappy with government, and the people who've been running it. It's not surprising to me how well Trump or Sanders are doing. We might see the same thing here in the next 3 yrs. That won't surprise me either.

  2. Cruz took Alaska. I knew they were gun whacky but didn't think they were that into his religious stuff. Just goes to show how
    much I don't know.
