"Chairmanship is key to success. All can be made right by an experienced chair."
Geoff Dawe's tenure in the mayor's chair exceeds your own, it must be pointed out.

Well .... no....It's not precisely relevant.
Mayor Dawe is in the second year of a second term of office.
I completed two terms of office as Mayor of Our Town.
I am proud and humble to have had the opportunity to serve. The experience lives with me still.
Staff ,Council and Community we made a difference. Together, we moved the town forward. It was a great feeling that cannot be denied.
Mayor Dawe still has time to begin to make his mark.
I wish him well.
If he succeeds, we all benefit.
It's about more than counting votes and choosing sides.
I am not seeing much in the way of leadership but perhaps there is a consensus that I am missing. We will see when big decision occur.

ReplyDeleteThe provincial and municipal governments have now held office for one and a half years and within the next couple election campaigns will be getting under way.
There is not that much time for anyone to make a mark, positive or otherwise.
19:12- Sure there is. Look what happened to Hudak (idiot). Just months before the election he decided all on his own to announce the slashing of 100,000 public sector jobs. He sealed his deal right there and then. Got the Liberals a majority government.

You are quite right.
The otherwise are much easier.
Yeah, Hudak was an idiot but the candidates from this area were too. I voted conservative and probably won't ever again.
ReplyDelete8:23 You don't know who will be applying for the job. I won't be voting Liberal that I know for sure.
