Don Lemon is a Hillary supporter. He's another CNN entertainer. Trump is getting air time because he's an entertainer as well. I can't see him making any of the changes that are needed in the "establishment" it's much bigger than he is. Hillary is a status quo leader which is much scarier than anything Trump can wrangle up.

Y'all know I am not American. I've never even been a snow bird.
I know a little more about their presidential election system now than I did at the beginning.
But not nearly enough to argue with any certainty.
We won't know till the end, how Americans feel about their country and their candidates.
The horrendous fact is how many Americans believe Brute Trump is a hero.
Even though they are not a majority.
Are so many Americans so turned into themselves ,they don't understand the nature of the world they live in?
Or worse, don't understand that national borders no longer define impregnable areas of security, authority, or financial independence. And have not at least since. 9/11.
Just because it hasn't happened a second time , doesn't mean it didn't happen the first time.
There are plenty of targets world wide.
So Trump, the one-trick pony, claims to have solutions to all the problems.
He loves his "under-educated " supporters. Even as he insults their intelligence, they turn out in their thousands to cheer him on.
Coal miners think he's going to "save their jobs". What's to save? Jobs that have taken generations, into the blackness of the bowels of the earth every day to risk lives and limbs. Jobs their children are forced into because there are no options.
Why, by all that's holy, would coal-miners of all people, turn their backs on the possibility of an
Industry that would allow them to live above ground the way human life was intended.
Which Shakespeare play fits this scenario ?
It was Mitt Romney who broke out the nasty fact that the Americans were totally split when he mentioned that he could only look to get that 47%. I think that cost him the election and he sure looks good in the rear view mirror. Trump will get this nomination and we have to hope that Hillary can stop him.
ReplyDeleteThere will be others in this presidential race that will be putting monkey wrenches in Hillary and Trumps plans.
ReplyDeleteMr. McCain stated that it would be foolish to ignore the choice of millions of GOP voters.
