"Cowardice asks the question...is it safe? Expediency asks the question...is it politic? Vanity asks the question...is it popular? But conscience asks the question...is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but one must take it because it is right." ~Dr. Martin Luther King

AN UNLIKELY TEAM OF RIVALS

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "FROM A DISTANCE":

I read that, in Ohio, 17 teen year olds
will be allowed to vote. That should open yet another can of worms.

******************************************

I'm not sure the presidential election system will ever make sense to me. It's nothing like ours.

Ohio  Governor advised the law did not allow underage(18) youth to vote.

The decision was challenged in court.

A judge changed the law and said they could .

I always understood a judge can decide not to uphold a badly written law but he can't write law.

It sounds like he re-wrote the law.

Caucus and open primaries decide delegate count and determine the nomination even before the convention.

It means children can make the difference.

It appears to have been the intention. The judge may be a Trump or Sanders follower. Or a sexist.
Or all manner of other unwholesome logic that comes to mind.

 In Ohio at least.

Whatever the logic, it made no difference.

 Hillary won Ohio handily.

Rubio says God does not want Mr Trump to win. I guess his opponents can all relax now ?
Why do they keep hauling God into disputes ? From what I've seen, both sides will claim His/Her support in a war.
