HUFF AND PUFF, I WILL BLOW THE HOUSE IN

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "ALL IN GOOD TIME":

"For whatever reason the majority will choose."

Now that is truly scary.

*********************************************

Scary it may be but it's always the same

It's the reason self-respecting candidates disrespect candidates who make facile promises to solve difficult problems.

People believe the blowhards.  Because  they want to.  Because whatever is said in public or read in
print must be true. It is shameful  exploitation of public trust.

Bernie Sanders says post -secondary education should be free to every student. Like The Pied Piper of Hamlin, he will blow  his flute and make it happen.

At rallies,he is surrounded by youth who still believe in fairy tales and follow the Piper wherever he leads.

Not old enough to remember the first Obama campaign slogan "Yes we can" .

In  response to Hillary's contention ... "Wait a minute ,It's not that easy".

Now they roar with the appreciation when Sanders makes facile promises.

They are college students. The rallies are held in universities.  They don't even know current history.

Obama managed to achieve a fraction  of what he promised. But at least he believed his own promises,

Bernie Sanders is seventy-four years old, He knows the ropes...well enough not to align himself with
an established party throughout his years of involvement. He was "independent ".

He risked nothing on the controversial issues.

His entire campaign has been the undermining by insinuation of wrongdoing against Hillary and making promises he can't keep.

He doesn't have a magic flute.

He's exhausted. His feet are dragging, shoulders sagging and his voice is fading.

He doesn't have the stamina .

Though he is  sufficiently emboldened by his success to demand The Democratic Party change the rules to let him win.

Last  night Donald Trump  read a  long tedious poem about a woman poisoned by  a snake she rescued from death.

The audience was ominously quiet waiting for the point to be made.  It never was.

It was difficult to watch. At some level, the  audience must realise their blustering hero has used up all his tricks.

Trump is of the same cloth  as Sanders. Thin and tawdry.

He also believes the Republican Party should change the rules to let him win.

The marathon continues.

  1. Paul Ryan has said he will not stand as the nominee in a brokered convention. A very wise move.

  2. Trump seems to have peaked . Will he go quietly or blow everything up with a temper tantrum ? That man is a walking talking ego.
