"Cowardice asks the question...is it safe? Expediency asks the question...is it politic? Vanity asks the question...is it popular? But conscience asks the question...is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but one must take it because it is right." ~Dr. Martin Luther King

Being Heard Matters

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "The Troubles of Toronto.":

"My arguments fall on deaf ears."

You must be getting used to that by now.

No.... not so
Everybody has to make up their own mind .
I do.
I don't criticise anyone  for doing the same thing.
Having the blog  makes all the difference in the world.
If mine is the only vote cast  one way or another  at the table, it isn't solitary.
Opinions expressed and votes cast are not the whole  interaction.. A good section of the community is engaged.
I'm pleased to be at the centre
I know many residents are content to hear their views expressed at the table even if they do not form the majority.
Being heard matters.

Thank you Councillor Buck.
Being heard really does matter. I wish more folks would have the inclination to debate.
