There was a very merry reception at the Lone Star Road House in Newmarket yesterday afternnonn.
The Special Olympic Gold Star Floor Hockey team and their families were being feted
Mayor Tony Van Bynen of Newmarket and Mayor Geoffrey Dawe of Aurora were with us for the celebration.
Not just a quick obligatory dart in to say a few words and leave. They were there to share the joy throughout the occasion.
It was Sunday afternoon.
Thank you both Mayors. We enjoyed having you.
