Defamation must be published to meet the criteria.
We have seen in Aurora, if the party making the comment is unknown, the party publishing can be sued.
The complaint was political. It was published in a blog. The suit was not successful but it was costly for taxpayers and defendants alike.
I'm not taking that responsibility.

I'm not sure why we should cut them any slack when not much respect was shown to you. But you're the boss.
It's amazing how some professions are so protected.
Its clear to me the O.B.C. (Old Boys Club) is in full steam mode.
Is every buddy of the Mayor and click going to hit the podium until we are bankrupt.
I will take Hand -outs in Aurora for $100. Alex.
It's not a good time for Canadian tennis despite what Mr Albino claims. It is a good thing we still have The Popsicle who is not concerned with what the media think and actually enjoys playing the game.

He does not see that.
The Auroran is up with a letter from our Nigel.
I'm still waiting for the town to build an icecream shop. Think of the revenue!! Who doesn't like icecream?

I remember your post suggesting the icecream service. One of the best ideas i've heard in the last 5 terms.
Ice cream sounds like a big step down from the medicinal pot,
Besides there are already trucks that drive to events and provide cold treats. Field Days are big earners. Your market is taken already

Say what you want about him. His letter is valid.

I would disagree. The riding the candidate is in has changed it's boundries. He was elected in that riding, he is running to be re-elected.
Only self-centred Aurorans would argue differently.

Bit of a reach there. I seldom agree with Mr Kean but in this case he might be technically correct. If it were ward politics, you might argue differently.
He is an elected member of parliament, so technically he is asking to be re-elected to parliament.
