"Cowardice asks the question...is it safe? Expediency asks the question...is it politic? Vanity asks the question...is it popular? But conscience asks the question...is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but one must take it because it is right." ~Dr. Martin Luther King

FINGER LICKIN'

LAnonymous has left a new comment on your post "YES VIRGINIA DARLING...INDEED THEY HAVE":

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE CORE?

WAS NOT ITS REVITALIZATION GOING TO BE "Our Town's" SALVATION?

HOW COME WE CAN'T GET HEIRS, ONLY SONS?

IS SOMETHING ROTTEN IN AURORA?

My finger hovered over publish but came down on reject. It happens.

The comment no longer exists after being rejected. The only way I know to publish it is to post it here.

It's entirely possible any one of my grandchildren know something about a corrective device on this
gadget that makes this communication possible.I prefer to plod along in my own unique style and fashion.

I don't want to be the Aunt Hillary relative referred to by President Obama at the Washington Press dinner last night.

Besides, I think Hillary is far more likely to be proficient with technology than himself. He probably has staff  handling  his communications. I've watched David Letterman peck out a message during his show. He is a lot younger than I am and not much better at it.

Trump is on CNN right now. Mute.

Body language is interesting.

Shoulders, arms, hands and fingers....all systems are a-go. Like an intricate machine with cogs and levers grinding, pistons hissing and spark plugs sparking. The little shoulder jerk is telling.

The mouth of course never rests but contributes little of sense or sensibility to the intelligence quotient.

Facial expressions complete a portrait  that obviously appeals to the unappealing.

Cards  behind him bearing the  name, Trump...Trump...Trump...,bob up and down on cue
with much the same significance.

If he can put on a show like that on national television, I can let my finger slip occasionally.

Post script: He talked non-stop for more than an hour.

Adolph Hitler used to do that. Benito Mussolini did it as well . General Franco of Spain had asimilar energetic style.Later version, perhaps more familiar, Fidel Castro was notorious for speeches that never ended.

They all had one thing in common.

Evelyn...You can't say he's not entertaining! Hillary isn't as good of a performer, but she does have her Baptist minister moments. They all have one thing in common, they all like to yell. They're all so loud.
