Fence Application or Permit granted":
WHY do they need the fence? It
must cost a heck of a lot and serves no purpose that I can see besides irritating the neighbours who have to look at the damn thing.
***********
They need the fence to charge $5. admission to get into the park and listen to the music.
They declared $150. thousand dollars revenue last year. They gave $6 thousand . to charity.
Part of the reveune in 2012 was a grant from Heritage Canada.
In 2011 the Trillium Foundation found them deserving of a generous hand-out.
They have "hundreds " of volunteers working for nothing
The manager and the entertainers get what's left after they give $6 thousand to charity
This will be the third year the fence has been erected around the park.
The first year, the festival manager directed staff to rent port-a-potties for the children in the water park.
The public washrooms belonged to festival organisers.
On account of how much they had not paid.

Me? I would prefer Aurora host one of those Warrior Dash events. Then everyone would be involved. Sick to tears of this bunch and their annual whine.
There has been an accident in the city at a Concert. One fatality so far. What do we know about the Jazz Group's insurance?
Then they are seriously stupid. You can't fence MUSIC in. It is supposed to bring people together.
Good fences make good neighbours.
