The plan comes from those involved in knocking down history and building condos.An inside source at a major corporation stated they have been buying heritage properties.Our HAC has been taking one off the list almost every month.There may be a couple on that committee paving the way.Just like getting the parks spokesperson back to the mic at council.A park might help them sell a few units.There are parks nearby but there is not alot there except soccer and baseball pitches.There is a group assembled that has already invested in that area.The park is a real estate deal and a future sales pitch.IMO.
