I can't do it.
If I publish every negative comment made about candidates the Blog will no longer be mine.
I hope I've removed all but the last comment about Councillor Gallo's bid for the Mayor's chair.
I left it becaause it reflects my better self.
I'm not saying I won't talk about election issues. But we'll take it one day at a time and we will
try and stay on the high road.

Your reputation isn't as a shrinking violet.
I think that the last comment you left on your previous post was so wishy-washy as to be insulting to your faithful followers, and even those who aren't faithful.
You alone know your better self although it's not the one I have come to know and admire over the years.
But it's your blog and you control what appears on it.
Good morning, Evelyn. sounds like you made an excellent call. It is far too early in the municipal election to get mired in this stuff. I have no idea who came up with the notion of being first out of the gate. It does seem unwise. It is spring, sort of, and it would be nice to enjoy it.. Take care.

I agree with you, E. About the one day at a time. But it is too bad that you are stuck in the middle. Anything can be challenged by either ' side ' for absolutely no reason. I was trying to recall how the Citizen handled the situation & realized that they didn't have the same problem. And still they got sued.
Whatever you decide works for me.
