By the way, some of those 'greenhorn politicians' are running rings around you

You may be right. It's all a matter of perspective.
No doubt Councillors feel they are doing the right things.Especially when they are in the majority.
Otherwise , it's hard to imagine why they would do what they keep on doing .
T he last lot probably felt they were doing what people wanted as well.
Then a couple of things happened.....Well three actually......An Integrity Commissioners decision.
a Court decision and an Election. In that order.
I do my job on the basis of the previous election. People trusted my judgement.
After twenty-seven years of public service as an elected representative I was recognized
for twenty-five . The Honourable Minister who signed the certificate was no longer Minister.
But who's looking.
t will be forty- four years before six current Councillor members can claim to have been elected and re-elected as many times .
Let me be the first to congratulate each ahead of time, should they reach that landmark.
Until then, I am proud to claim the record.
It means a lot to me.

Not sure what that person means about running rings around you. From where I sit comfortably not running for office, it would appear that the " greenhorn politicians " have got themselves into a bind where nothing is going to get done until the end of term because of all their politicking. But then, I'm just an observer.
ALL the politicians were side-lined today as Aurora did its own thing. No " green-horns " can claim the street sale. Nor can adjacent towns. We should stop trying to be everyone else.
You should be very proud Evelyn. Aurora is lucky to have you!
Nonsense. It is the beginning of June. We have not even seen all the candidates.
Four-year terms sure affect the math versus the one and two-year ones of yesteryear.
