I would have voted to eliminate the more extravagant items in the design.; specifically the green roof and a complete floor of space with no purpose identified.
I believe the site location is completely inappropriate.
I urged Council to step back and take time to assess.
The majority voted otherwise. The decision to proceed was made.
I do not expect any change.

In the matter of the food pantry and financial support from tax revenues.
I do not agree the town has authority to impose taxation for contributions to charity ...any charity.
I believe dependence on food banks in this Year of Our Lord 2014 is a both shame and a disgrace.
That it co-exists with extraordinary affluence makes it even less acceptable.

I quite agree about using tax money to fund the food bank - were it not for the fact that other organizations do very nicely on the tax-payers' dime.
If it is not right for one, it should not be right for any.
You need staff, dammit........

Judging from the # of radio stations that have already switched to all Xmas music, they must all be suicidal. Way to drive people to electronics & elevator music.
Used to be you heard Christmas music at the Church
Carol Evening Service-[ optional -1], the school afternoon Christmas Concert [ optional -1]. maybe for an hour on the radio from a department store [ optional- 5 ] and perhaps some bell ringing from the Sally Ann.
Now it can drive you completely bonkers.
