"Cowardice asks the question...is it safe? Expediency asks the question...is it politic? Vanity asks the question...is it popular? But conscience asks the question...is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but one must take it because it is right." ~Dr. Martin Luther King

Rogers has stopped delivering my mail. I have been switched to Yahoo.  There are differences in process that I have not yet mastered. Particularly dealing  with comments.

I think I may have  removed content previously published.

I apologize. I  get lost  If I travel  too deeply into squirelly stuff. I'm going to  leave it alone for the day and may not come back to it.

If you don't see your comment ,or saw it and then didn't .....that's the explanation. Please send it again. Unless it was abusive ,.. then don't.

There is a difference between critical and abusive.

Criticism  is a legitimate component of politics.

Abuse is  a component of ignorance.

I note Toronto charged a movie company to close Yonge. Are we not supposed to be copying other cities to generate revenue for our town ? Surely this would be smarter than clear garbage bags like Markham ?

The clear garbage bag initiative is dead.

Hello, I was at the Center of Culture and I saw Mr.Heard drop off a whole bunch of old items to a lady there.I think we have alot going on that we are not in the loop on.

We do have to keep an eye out as ' dead ' items can get back before council. Clear bags was a lesser of the possible nonsense.
I guess everyone has a list of stuff that should stay buried..
