"Cowardice asks the question...is it safe? Expediency asks the question...is it politic? Vanity asks the question...is it popular? But conscience asks the question...is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but one must take it because it is right." ~Dr. Martin Luther King

The Report Will Be Prompt

Ah. But WHEN will there be a report?

Once again Evelyn Buck weaves a story about old vs new and then tempts us all with some sort of wrong doing - but she can't tell us about it.

I ask, if it is worthy enough to skirt around, then tell us the full story. You claim that you use this vehicle to inform.

If you cannot tell all, I suggest that you leave it behind the closed door until you can. All you are doing now is creating innuendo

Mais non, Mon Ami
The first part of the Audit Committee meeting was open.
Problems were  revealed. and discussed to a certain point.
There is no innuendo
Things are not as they should be.
This  morning's post  makes  it  clear.
When I've had breakfast ,I may get back to it. Or I may decide to do it to-morrow.
I am not working to a time clock. There are seven other  Councillors and the Mayor who might fill you in on details in the meantime.

I see no innuendo here. What I may be seeing is a sort of pattern. There was no apology for the errors in reporting ' water loss'; not did I hear Staff offer an apology to councillor Gallo about the very large error in funding the Bloomington construction work. In fact, they often sound down-right irritated at the members of Council for their gall at suggested problems with money.
