"Cowardice asks the question...is it safe? Expediency asks the question...is it politic? Vanity asks the question...is it popular? But conscience asks the question...is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but one must take it because it is right." ~Dr. Martin Luther King

Is This A Ringer

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Occupy Aurora Town Park":

If this idea pans out ,perhaps one of the excluded service clubs could get a permit from the Town to sell refreshments? That way, something positive could emerge from a negative.

Great idea, fun possibilities and plenty of time to work out wrinkles - like we might need a tractor to pull open the fence. Just to be an irritant in some peoples' lives works for me. I know it's petty. If we could bring stuff for the food bank and a service group could operate a booth, it's looking good to go.

Just nit=picking at the end of the day. If it weren't for the constant drain on Council and Aurora's bank account, how would some of our councillors' wishes expressed at the all-candidates meeting held by the sports group have turned out? Pirri might have his theatre, Councillor Abel might have his youth group meeting place. The town could have developed that new park. And Evelyn might have cleaned up the old library site. BUMMER!
