Adam's Home

They tumbled off the bus .Trying again for one more triumphant yell. But they didn't have a full voice between them.  Their throats  were so hoarse from a week of excitement.

They scored  most goals. Had the least goals scored against them.
Won the award for most sportsmanlike conduct.

The points are all  needed to be chosen to represent Canada in the World Competition in Seoul

But it's a bit more comlicated.

Each participant paid $1,000. to be in the Edmonton competition.
It cost more than that.  Special Olympics funded the rest.

When the decision is made about who will go to Seoul ,cost is a factor. Choices have to be made.

So we will not know yet  if Adam's team will make the trip. It's
alright though.   Being Canadian Champions and bringing home a gold medal is pretty damned satisfying.
